Anyone who knows me well would say that I live for the music scene. My name is Evie and I co-founded and run a local production company and venue in Pittsburgh. Our goal is to give the local bands a place to shine. We have strived to make our local venue a contender in the music scene. My ideal job in the music industry is not to be a rock star but one who gives those who dream to be rock stars a boost in the right direction. I would like to make Evening Cure Productions, our company, a foundation for local bands all over the country to lean upon. My ideal dream would be to help those bands that really have what it takes to make it in this “cut throat” industry. I would also like to open a chain of venues for the local scene, as well as a section that helps with touring and promoting for the local bands. I see how difficult it is for local bands to get out there and be heard. I see bands that have the potential to make it, but cannot because they are stuck in small towns. They are shutdown because they don’t have the money to tour or follow their dreams instead they have to leave their dreams and get a job. “Persistence Prevailing” is my motto. The music industry is a fulltime job, it is my dream, and I will achieve it.

Other than our venue, we are also starting to work on Compilations that will be made up of bands from all over the US & more and will be distributing them several times a year. Also, we are starting "Evening Cure Designs" a screen-printing company. We are just starting that up now, so if you are looking for shirts to be made send us an email and we'll see what we can do. An offshoot of ECD will be Derek's own clothing line, "Never Dies Clothing" but that is still in the making. :)

I live with my fiance Derek. He rarely updates but if your bored his lj is zyddy We will be getting married on 07-07-07. He is the other side of Evening Cure Productions.

and this is my second favorite "little" man, my nephew and godson, Brody. He is the funniest little guy, he makes me feel like a kid again :)


We have 2cats, Mia and Gangsta/Baby Cat/Jay *see what happens when Derek names our pets. We also have a beagle/lab mix puppy, Hunter. She's a doll, definatly Derek's dog -- laziest thing in the world; her as a puppy :)


Lastly, we have LOTS of fish. I have 3 Bugg-Eyed Black GoldFish.. a LARGE VERY LARGE black mollie, named Mike :) I love fish. They make me happy. And 2 smaller ones named, Andy & Chad.. and a HUGE scary alge-eater name BIG FRANK. we also have 2 little black mollies that just had babies :). We have more fish in the other tank but I haven't named them.

I would REALLY like to have a polar bear but I don't think our bathtub is quite big enough :/


Radom Thoughts:

I like Garfield & Marmaduke cartoons. I like taking the time to sit down and eat dinner at the table each night with Derek. I like finally having a dishwasher. I actually like to do laudry. I like booking shows. I like Law & Order, and Law & Order SVU. I like laying down with my puppy. I like water with lemon. I like music. I like Avenged Sevenfold, Afi, Flatline. I like watching movies (but not at the theater). I like comedians especially Dane Cook, Lewis Black & (the late RIP 2005) Mitch Headberg. I like chocolate.

I don't like Law & Order CI, I don't like hand washing dishes, I don't like alcohol - despite my attempts to.(fully due to my brothers wedding) I don't like showering (Im sorry Im lazy, only because I HATE drying my hair.) I don't like the smell of Red Bull, or the taste. I don't like people/things that are hyper.

I truly am happy when I listen to Avenged Sevenfold and when I am at an A7X show. I can not believe how moved I am by their music. They are truly amazing guys who I am blessed that I have had the chance to meet. When I listen to their music it is like... I can't even describe it... I love their music.
